After a first and successful residence last summer at Pacha Ibiza, Mosaic has travelled throughout the world this winter, passing through Amsterdam, London or Mexico. With more than 20 dates between May and October, Mosaic has entertained every Tuesday at Pacha Ibiza, bringing together many of the most significant names of the electronic music industry. The party has become a point of reference within the scene.

Mosaic is a concept that was initiated and developed by Maceo Plex, based on the art of creating images by joining small pieces of colourful materials. This concept offers a lot more than a dj set, consisting of a wide spectrum of musical landscapes, and the union of different artists to create a great piece of music.

Mosaic lands again in Barcelona for a special appointment. It will take place in the Plaza Mayor of the Poble Espanyol on Saturday, June 17th, with an edition that will run from 4:00 pm to 2:00 am. The lineup will feature six of Maceo Plex’s favourite artists, specially selected for the occasion, and together, they will take you for trip, through various aspects of club electronic music.

Maceo is ready to cross musical borders, and can count on Nick Murphy to help him, the new alias under which Chet Faker has released his recent song Fear Less, and who puts a voice to Bonobo’s No Reason. The young producer Joy Orbison, the mastermind behind the Hinge Finger label, will take us on a journey through different electronic shades and styles. Two music legends will get together for the occasion, playing back to back, one of the pillars of Phantasy record label and manager of the November dj-kicks, which is none other than Daniel Avery; and Roman Flügel, one of the most experienced artists in electronic music. We will also be able to enjoy live shows from Paranoid London –the creators of the track We Make Acid, which perfectly describes its musical style– and Broken English Club, a renowned name in the techno scene.

The light and the visuals, in harmony with the music, will play an important role in the staging of the performances. An experience of surround sound, mapping with lights and spectacular neon, that will accompany the artists in the Plaza Mayor of Poble Espanyol throughout the event; In the purest Mosaic style.
