Sunny Side Festival set to light up Malta next May

Combining sunshine, sea and an incredible open air setting, Sunny Side Festival MT is all set to rock the island of Malta next spring!

Running from May 17th to 19th, the first wave of artists announced to play at Sunny Side '24 includes the likes of Aline Umber (live), Brian James, Desirée Falessi, DouDou MD, Dungeon Meat, Edward, Francesco Maddalena, Louison, Magda, Owen Jay, Private Press (live), Prosumer, Raresh, Sonja Moonear, Tomas Station, UJ/DV and XDJ.

Showcasing the island country's sun-drenched beauty, the electronic music gathering will take place across two stages, including Malta's iconic open-air venue, Uno Malta, and vibrant seaside hotspot Armier Bay beach club on Tortuga.

Kicking off the line-up is highly sought-after Swiss star and charismatic selector, SONJA MOONEAR, set to infuse the atmosphere with her eclectic taste. Following her will be Romanian tastemaker and a member of a:rpia:r, RARESH, bringing his distinctive rolling sound. 

The Giegling powerhouse, EDWARD, will guide the audience through his signature shades of techno, paving the way for the rising star TOMAS STATION, who is currently making waves on dancefloors worldwide. The decks will also be graced by the one and only MAGDA delivering her solid sound, while the dynamic duo DUNGEON MEAT, composed of Tristan Da Cunha and Brawther, will captivate the crowd with their pulsating beats. 

Closing this stellar sequence are the legendary house selector and Panorama Bar resident, PROSUMER, alongside the deep and dubby German electronic music mainstay, XDB.

Moreover, the festival is set to embrace the French live duo sensation ALINE UMBER, as well as Argentinian-born prodigy now based in Berlin, DESIREÉ FALESSI, Dutch talent and SlapFunk resident DOUDOU MD, Italy's iconic After Caposile founder and resident FRANCESCO MADDALENA, emerging talent LOUISON, and the Warsaw-based duo PRIVATE PRESS.

Surrounded by breathtaking coastlines, pristine blue waters and historically rich architecture - including ancient temples and cities crafted by the Knights of Saint John - festival goers will have the opportunity to explore Malta's vibrant culture, indulge in delicious cuisine, and bask in the warm hospitality of the locals.
