Moderat joins Sónar 2022 line-up

After a four-year hiatus, Berlin-based trio Moderat has been confirmed to join the line-up for Sónar by Night.

The electronic music super group will be hosting a new live show produced in collaboration with PFA Studios, a spectacular audiovisual extravaganza during which they will present their imminent new material, as well as their formidable back catalogue of classics.

Formed by legendary duo Modeselektor [Gernot Bronsert and Sebastian Szary] together with producer and singer Apparat [Sascha Ring], Moderat has recorded three extraordinary albums to date, fusing progressive sound design with a Berlin techno beat and soulful elements of the finest electro pop.

Taking place on June 16th, 17th and 18th, Sónar Barcelona 2022 is ready to return with a bang, boasting a stellar line-up that includes the likes of The Chemical Brothers, The Blaze, Arca, Oneohtrix Point Never, The Blessed Madonna, Charlotte de Witte, Eric Prydz, Nathy Peluso, Folamour, Reinier Zonneveld, Princess Nokia, Channel Tres, and Helena Hauff.

Serpentwithfeet, Joy Orbison, AJ Tracey, Polo & Pan, Richie Hawtin, Kiddy Smile, Avalon Emerson, Tiga + Hudson Mohawke, ANNA, Scotch Rolex, Dj Marcelle / Another Nice Mess, Herrensauna XXL, Eris Drew B2B Octo Octa, DJ Python, Skee Mask, Morad, Venus X, Conduct , Critical Soundsystem, Manara, Ms Nina are also billed to take to the decks.

The addition of Moderat brings yet another renowned act to the table, with further acts still to be announced.
