ADE 2023: Full Line-Up & Highlights

As the Ibiza season draws to a close, over in Amsterdam the ADE crew is busy preparing for another epic edition of the annual electronic music industry gathering.

Running from October 18th until 22nd, the Amsterdam Dance Event is widely considered to have the world’s most extensive festival and conference programme for electronic music, including DJ sets by the world’s biggest names, live music performances, iconic venues, and, since the introduction of ADE Arts & Culture, film screenings, art installations and theatre pieces.

The vast range of the 2500+ artists billed to take part in this year’s edition include the likes of Adam Beyer, Amelie Lens, Boris Brejcha, CamelPhat, Charlotte DeWitte, AMÉMÉ, Dennis Ferrer, Ellen Alien, Hot Since 82, Claptone, Kölsch, Marco Carola, Solomun, Apollonia, Chris Liebing, Armin Van Buuren and many, many more.

Live music highlights this year include the electro-organic sounds of jazz quartet ECHT!, Jameszoo in Muziekgebouw, a live performance by Overmono, a one-off concert by Mary Lake and Amsterdams Andalusisch Orkest, and many others.

The third edition of ADE Arts & Culture is focusing on a new generation of creators, electronic music’s positive impact, and broadening horizons. Highlights include interactive theater pieces such as Nicole Beutler’s ATMEN at Internationaal Theater Amsterdam, to the interdisciplinary Gay Guerilla by 24classics at Zuiderkerk, to the film programme at venues such as Eye Filmmuseum, Melkweg Cinema, Kriterion and more.

Meanwhile, stand-out events of the ADE Pro segment of the industry gathering include an HBO pop-up centered around hit show The White Lotus, a discussion on how professionals can master the explosion of AI, an immersive live performance by Max Cooper, and the first ever live interview and ‘experience’ with Claptone.

Of course, Ibiza Global Radio will not be missing from the action and is sending our team to Amsterdam for a special live broadcast and music showcase in collaboration with Sunergy (Barcelona, Amsterdam) & Ritvales (Medellin, Colombia), and The Bullit Agency at Westerkerk on Friday, October 20th.
