DJ Awards and Ibiza Global Radio unveil exciting collaboration for 2024 Ceremony

As the DJ Awards return this October with a grand comeback at Chinois Ibiza on October 2nd, the team has announced an exciting collaboration with Ibiza Global Radio. 

DJ Awards 2024, in collaboration with the island's biggest multi-media broadcaster, will be launching a weekly show that will spotlight various nominees - getting everyone excited for this year’s event! 

The show will air every Saturday at 9pm, from September 14th until September 28th 2024 - with a special recap show on October 5th.

The one-hour shows will feature sets from nominees throughout the awards categories, showcasing a variety of electronic music styles that range from Afro to Organic and Tech House, as well as many more.

This initiative comes ahead of the DJ Awards' highly anticipated 23rd anniversary event on October 2nd at Chinois Ibiza.

Founded in 1998 by José Pascual and Lenny Krarup, the DJ Awards have long been recognised as the ‘Oscars of electronic dance music.’ 

Now under new ownership and with fresh investment after a four year hiatus, the awards make a welcome return and continue to champion global DJ culture and celebrate excellence across numerous categories including long-standing favourites like House, Tech House, Drum & Bass, Techno, Progressive House, and Trance. 

Alongside newer genres such as Organic House and Afro, the Breakthrough category will highlight emerging talents while the Industry Awards recognises notable achievements both globally and in Ibiza. 

The 2024 theme of the DJ Awards is Unity, emphasising the need to bring people together to honour the many diverse contributions made to the global dance music scene.
