Ibiza Global Festival 2024 Day 1: Meet the artists

We introduce all the artists playing on Friday, August 9th 2024, at the Ibiza Global Festival on S'Arenal Beach in San Antonio.

5:00 pm - 5:45 pm - Varoc

Often dubbed Europe's youngest professional DJ, electronic music 'wunderkind' Varoc returns to the Ibiza Global Festival stage.

After surprising his family when he built a 'mixer' from cardboard at the age of eight, the young prodigy graduated from the prestigious INTED Electronic Music School in Madrid, where he trained in music computing, DJing and production, at just 11 years old.

See him work his magic on the decks once again at Ibiza Global Festival 2024.

5:45 pm - 6:45 pm - Nikita Voguel

Nikita Voguel, an Italo-Indian DJ/producer, is making her mark with an exotic musical imprint and a dynamic approach, forging a deep connection between her soul and the audience.

Her musical career began with classical singing, deeply influenced by her father and mentor, a devoted record collector.

Inspired since the beginning by EBM and electro influences, she now dominates groovy techno rhythms, blending hypnotic oriental melodies to generate an immersive musical experience.

Nikita has maintened a steady presence on the Berlin underground scene over the years, making people dance at renowned venues such as RSO and Renate.

In Italy, she shared the stage with many leading producers including Vitalic, The Hacker, Pablo Bozzi, Alessandro Adriani and many others.

Making her debut at Ibiza Global Festival, she says, "I'm so grateful for this show because I've been following Ibiza Global Radio for a long time. Playing on this stage allows me to perform in Ibiza for the first time and bring my musical and spiritual energy.

6:45 pm - 7:45 pm - SS Ventura

SS Ventura is a French producer and DJ known for his eclectic blend of techno and house music. After graduating as a sound engineer, he quickly made a name for himself on the Parisian club scene with his DJ mixes, quickly becoming a prominent figure in the techno scene thanks to his ‘90s-inspired sound with a ‘Chicago twist’. 

After soaring to the top of Beatport, Carl Cox signed him to the iconic Bush Records label and Shodan. SS Ventura’s productions are frequently listed among the top 100 DJs and can be heard at international techno festivals all over the globe. 

With over three albums, 100 EP releases, and numerous live tours, SS Ventura is a regular on the Ibiza Global platform, with his residency streaming on Ibiza Global Radio and TV every Friday. Touring the world, he has performed in various cities including Paris, Berlin, Chicago, Los Angeles, Madrid, Córdoba, Amsterdam, Brussels, Istanbul, and Vancouver. 

Some of his most notable gigs include Space Ibiza with Carlo Gambino, Amnesia Ibiza, Ibiza Global Festival, New York’s Output, TBA Brooklyn, and After Bushwick. With his unique sound and style, SS Ventura has made a significant impact on the electronic music scene and continues to inspire audiences around the world.

08:45 pm - 09:00 pm: Rebeka Brown

A self-taught artist with a burning passion for music, Rebeka Brown’s powerful vocals never fail to induce goosebumps when you hear the incredible Spanish singer perform live. With an innate talent for entertaining, she has set stage alight and electrified the crowd at both of the previous editions of the Ibiza Global Festival. 

Having trained as a performer since her childhood days, Rebeka is an experienced musician and dancer that stands out for her multiple talents and versatility. She is equally confident lending her voice to a funk or rock song as she is singing on a techno or house music track. 

Furthermore, the award-winning vocalist released her own albums, Disco Dramah Vol. 1 and Vol. 2, as well as numerous singles and maxi-singles, which eventually led to her own show celebrating her successful career, also called “Discodramah”.

Ibiza lovers will also recognise her name from the artist’s two residencies at iconic parties, Matinee at Amnesia Ibiza, and Supermartxé at the former Privilege Ibiza, both cult events that attracted fans and tourists from all over the world. Chus & Ceballos, Javi Reina, Juanjo Martín, Roger Sánchez, and Wally López are just some of the prestigious DJs she has worked with live or in the studio.

Her impressive back catalogue includes infectious anthems such as ‘Go Deeper’, ‘Sun Rising Up’, ‘Don’t Let This Moment End’ and ‘Burning Love’.

This year, Rebeka will once again be performing alongside musician Lorena Di Tena, who will be playing the keytar.

 She says, “I’m very grateful and honoured to be playing at Ibiza Global Festival for a third time; I’ve been with them from the beginning and amongst other things we are celebrating 20 years of the radio station.

" The Ibiza Global family has been supporting me as an artist for many years, so I have prepared a very special show alongside my friend Lorena Di Tena. To enjoy a free event in such a special setting such as the S’Arenal beach on the island’s sunset coast, this is truly the essence of Ibiza.”

09:00 pm - 10:00 pm: Martim Rola b2b Fahlberg

10:00 pm - 11:00 pm: Guy Gerber

Guy Gerber is an Israeli DJ and producer who has established his continuous popularity and presence in Ibiza thanks to his often surprising, leftfield musical choices and atmospheric events. 

Best known for his long-standing, nomadic party series Rumors, his sound blends the worlds of melancholy and euphoria effortlessly. 

Citing Joy Division and My Bloody Valentine as early influences, Gerber still references their impact during his hypnotising live performances or contemplative, moody productions. 

Leading the way towards a sonic aesthetic that veers off the beaten track, in 2007, his debut album Late Bloomers was snapped up by Sven Väth’s Cocoon, followed by sophomore album My Invisible Romance in 2009. Since then, he has consistently delivered new music and fresh remixes, much to the delight of his global following.

As a performer, Guy Gerber is consistently rated one of the best touring acts in dance music, earning the accolade of Top 10 live performer three years in a row from Resident Advisor. He’s known for extended sets, epitomised by a 12-hour performance at Burning Man in 2014. 

His iconic Ibiza seaside party, Rumors, has settled nicely into Playa d’en Bossa hotspot Playa Soleil built upon a heady mix of subversion, mysticism and mystique.

Festival goers will be able to see this singular talent take over the huge stage on S’Arenal beach in San Antonio for what is bound to be an unforgettable, mesmerising show.

11:00 pm - 01:00 pm: ARODES

Adrián Rodríguez, known in the music scene as ARODES, is a Spanish DJ and producer who bases his sets on creating deep, melodic and emotional soundscapes designed not only to make the audience dance, but also to feel.  Productions such as  'Reborn', 'Storm', and 'Esperanza' have been highly supported by renowned artists such as Adriatique, Bedouin, Black Coffee, Keinemusik, Rüfus de Sol, and Swedish House Mafia among others. He also collaborated with fellow Spanish producer and Ibiza veteran Andrea Oliva on the track ‘Future Call’.

Meanwhile, his event brand ‘Unreleased’ launched during Miami Music Week 2022, and aims to combine emerging talent with established artists to bring freshness and innovation to the electronic music scene. Its line-up has included artists such as Áme, Black Coffee, Jan Blomqvist, Hosh, and Louie Vega to name a few, popping up across the United States, South America, and Europe, as well as securing a summer residency at Void Mykonos. 

A regular at the world's most important clubs, such as Ushuaïa and  Hï Ibiza, Brooklyn Mirage, Savaya Bali, Papaya Playa Tulum, Pacha Barcelona, Blue Marlin Ibiza, and Space Miami, ARODES takes control of his sets with the intention of connecting us and making the dance floor more than a party: an immersive, unforgettable experience. Although his music belongs to the underground scene, his melodic and powerful sound is suitable for any ear.

11:00 pm - 01:00 am: Danny Wade

A rising star on the global electronic music scene, Danny Wade famously had his breakthrough at just 17 years old when he played an electrifying seven-hour set at Pacha Ibiza while spontaneously covering for Martin Solveig and Laidback Luke after their plane had to make an emergency landing. 

Since then, he has gained extensive experience not only in the booths of the island, but also across the globe through his time as a resident on the Pacha Ibiza World Tour. 

He is also a regular on the international festival scene, with shows at famous electronic music gatherings such as Tomorrowland in Belgium, Tomorrowland Unite in Malta, Parookaville in Germany, and Medusa Festival in Spain. In 2022, he launched his Icon Ibiza event series, which has been touring the world to combine top international DJ talents with incredible venues in locations such as Mexico City, Dubai and, of course, Ibiza.
