Street Parade returns to Zurich on August 13th 2022
After two years of a pandemic-enforced hiatus, colourful house and techno festival Street Parade will return to Zurich, Switzerland, on August 13th 2022.
Coming back with a big bang, the line-up features an exciting slew of international headliners including Adriatique, Andrea Oliva, Chris Liebing, Fjaak, Ida Engberg, Nic Fanciulli, Solardo and Vintage Culture to name just a few!
A vibrant open-air fiesta, Street Parade 2022 will run from 13:00 until midnight and follow a 2.4km-long route that begins at Utoquai in the neighbourhood of Seefeld, before heading around the lakefront via Bellevue, Quaibrücke and Bürkliplatz, eventually arriving at Hafendamm Enge at around 22:00.
30 moving stages, also known as Love Mobiles, will follow along the track, with eight further stationary stages set up along the way. The Street Parade 2022 fun will continue with after parties at Mythenquai, Bellevue, Bürkliplatz, Rentenanstalt and Limmatquai until midnight.
For the 29th edition of the festival, the team has chosen the motto “THINK”. As a peaceful and openminded dance music demonstration, Street Parade 2022 wants to encourage people to reflect, gain new knowledge and readjust their thoughts to create a peaceful, tolerant and sustainable coexistence.
The organisers write on the Street Parade website, “Often we form opinions without knowing the background. Fast-moving events, also influenced by social media, make us impatient, naive and vulnerable.
“THINK – knowledge is the yield of thoughts, and thoughts are the key for a peaceful coexistence of our cultures, no matter to which religion, skin colour, origin or sexual orientation people belong.”
