[UNVRS] snares Eric Prydz for season-long residency that will debut Holosphere 2.0

More earth-shattering news from [UNVRS], who continue to drop the names of new heavyweight residents week-in, week-out! Swedish superstar DJ, producer and visionary Eric Prydz has been the latest artist to be confirmed for a weekly night at the brand new hyper club in 2025. 

Furthermore, with the cutting-edge technology and facilities of [UNVRS] at his fingertips, Prydz will debut an evolved version of his mind-blowing Holosphere show during a 14-week stint at the superlative venue, titled: Eric Prydz presents Holosphere 2.0.

The concept originally debuted in 2019 as one of the most technologically and visually ambitious live music shows in the world, when Prydz performed inside an eight-tonne sphere that stood over two stories tall—so massive that Tomorrowland had to redesign its festival grounds to accommodate it. 

This summer, Prydz has announced that he will bring an even larger Holosphere show to Ibiza’s [UNVRS], staging the island’s biggest production, and most high-tech residency to date.

Prydz’s team has been working for over five years to bring Holosphere back, its return depending on ensuring that technology has advanced enough to support the vision of a completely redesigned sphere and an improved concert concept. 

Holosphere 2.0 will be vastly different from its predecessor—not only larger in size but also superior in every aspect. The iconic concept of Prydz performing inside an enormous floating sphere, requiring months of physical construction and engineering, will be elevated by a feature-film’s worth of brand-new original animation, 3D holographic effects, and never-before-seen multidimensional layers of custom transparent LED covering the interior, exterior, and internal volume of the sphere.

Running every Monday from June 2nd until September 1st 2025, [UNVRS] is one of the only permanent venues in the world capable of housing Holosphere’s expanded version on a weekly basis, underscoring the venue’s forward-thinking and technical innovation. The residency format will allow Prydz to experiment week by week, both musically and visually.
