Over the last two decades, Caprices festival has put Crans-Montana back on the map. Hugely popular in the ‘70s and ‘80s the Swiss resort was introduced to a new generation when the electronic music gathering arrived in the Alps. Over two decades, the event has grown and evolved to become one of the world’s premier underground events with not just top-level music but also endless daytime adventures in the Alps, as well as body and soul-enriching experiences.
Apart from top level DJ sets and live performances, music and winter sport fiends will be spoilt with gastronomic experiences, mountain activities, multiple spa and wellness centres, an eco-museum and no less than 140 km of pistes for skiing and snowboarding PLUS a next level snowpark, husky sledding and much more.
For Caprices’ 20th anniversary edition there will be five stages split across day and night – two by day and three by night. Each stage has its own unique theme with fantastically realised production and added performing arts elements such as dancers, actors, audio-visuals and art installations.
Arguably the most renowned party space at Caprices festival is the Modernity Stage, an iconic glasshouse at 2,200m up the Swiss Alps that will welcome big name DJs for some unforgettable musical memories. The Club stage, meanwhile, is a concrete stage attached to the Modernity Stage with a glass wall overlooking the Alps and soundtracked by some fresh talents from around the world.
By night, The Moon Stage comes to life with a famously cutting edge audio-visual production that adds an extra dimension to every single set. Meanwhile, the 2000-capacity Forest Stage will transport partygoers deep into Alpine woodlands. Last, but not least, the Dome Stage offers yet another high-level audio-visual experience and classy underground sounds.
This year Caprices offers hotel packages as well as additional services and activities within the region for revellers seeking to discover Crans-Montana.
Rolling a magical travel experience, winter sport fun and world class electronic music experience all into two unmissable weekends, do not miss this historic year at Caprices.
